Not all oil from China is spoiled, but the lack of safety precautions and food safety laws make it far too easy for Chinese manufacturers to sell nauseating products. Their actions with oil are particularly outrageous.
Some time ago, a large food company in China decided to take used oil from restaurants, filter it, repack it and sell it as new oil. When you buy oil from China, you may be buying recycled oil that has been “cleaned”, not new oil. Since you do not know where this oil has been, it is better to be safe and buy oil that has not been exported from China.
